Hannah bardzo bała się, że zostanie rozpoznana, dlatego nie chciała dłużej mieszkać w Wilnie. Pani Stefania wyraziła zgodę na przeprowadzkę do Orwidowa.
Mrs. Stefania went to Vilnus once again. There was a determined place where people who needed help could come and leave their messages. Mrs. Stefania was assigned to help them. She went to the outskirts of Vilnus to the Feddecki family, who owned a huge farm. There was a jewish couple - Hannah and Arnold Minkowscy, who lived in their house on a terrace overgrown with wine.
Arnold was a lawyer from Sosnowiec and he had fabricated stocks which showed that he was not a Jew. Unfortunetly, his wife's father was a well known Jewish dentist. Many people knew her real origin.
Hannah was very afraid of being recognised so she did not want to live in Vilnus. Mrs. Stefania agreed to help and take them to Orwidów.
That couple stayed with Stefania Dąmbrowska for a very long time. Nerby, in Niemczyn a ghetto was created. Orwidów was near the route to Vilnus. Stefania was also well known and her father was a colonel. All these factors had influence on Minkowscy - they lived in constant fear about their lives and wanted to leave Orwidów. Stefania rented a house from the Waszkiewicz family. Jewish couple moved there. The ghetto in Niemczyn was annihilated - hundreds of Jews were executed. That incident really frightened them and they decided to move back to Orwidów. After some time they asked Mrs. Dąmbrowska for some money for journey to Vilnus to Fedeckis' farm.
